Cusco, Sacred Valley, Machupicchu 6 days

Day 1 - Arrive in Lima. Hotel for the night
Day 2 - After breakfast, flight to Cusco, the famed capitol of the Incan empire. You will be greeted at the airport and transferred to your hotel. A walk to the local restaurant of your choice, followed by a walking tour of the city. After dinner, those who are interested can explore high altitude nightlife.
Day 3 - We'll travel to the outskirts of Cusco, including guided tours of Sacsayhuaman and nearby Tambomachay and Pukapukara. Overnight in Cusco.
Day 4 - Breakfast. You will travel into the Sacred Valley to visit the village where you will do your cooking. A trip to the local market will provide all the materials needed to create your own masterpiece of culinary arts. You will meet with a Qechua family who will share their kitchen as well as their cooking techniques. After you sample and share your meal, you will transfer to your hotel for the night.
Day 5 - Train to Aguas Calientes, the gateway to Machu Picchu. Here you can visit the local artisan market, relax in the local thermal spa and enjoy a dinner in the restaurant of your choice.
Day 6 - Visit to Machu Picchu. Your guide will give you a private tour before you are left to wander the ruins on your own. By late afternoon, you will start the journey back to Cusco for the night.
Day 7 - Free morning in Cusco. Visit museums, ruins, shops and restaurants of your choice. We terminate our service at the Cusco airport where you will catch your afternoon flight to Lima. Late departure for overnight flight to your home or next destination.
Day 8 - Arrival at next destination.
